NAESM and HIV/AIDS Community Base Organizations commemorate World AIDS Day in the Atrium of Atlanta City Hall on December 1st, 2011

Atlanta, Georgia - NAESM and HIV/AIDS community based organizations will commemorate World AIDS Day in the atrium of Atlanta City Hall on Thursday, December 1st, 2011 from 10:00AM to 1:00AM.

This special day serves as the catalyst as to why organizations such as ours and other organizations worldwide provide much needed services, education and at times now -- advocacy to continue the work that has to be done in order to conquer the alarming increase in numbers of this disease.

As we celebrate “Getting to Zero” – “Zero New HIV Infections, Zero Discrimination and Zero AIDS Related Deaths” a short program will commence at 11:00am to include messages from local and state authorities and other notables in this fight and recognition of World AIDS Day in Atlanta, Georgia.

Free HIV testing will be extended to the general public from 10:00AM to 1:00PM as well as a small exhibition of community based organizations representing the HIV community on hand to answer questions on HIV/AIDS, STD’s and other Health Disparities.

This is a collaboration of agencies that continue to serve the populace in and around Atlanta.
