On Monday, December 10th, the students of UNC Charlotte, with the help of US Cott Entertainment LLC, will be hosting a comedy show fundraising event to benefit the senior citizens and rehab residents of Saturn Nursing and Rehabilitation Home ...in Charlotte.
The event will take place on the campus of UNCC at 7pm (exact location TBA) and will feature BET and Def Comedy Jam Comedian Nick Lewis along with several other stand up acts.

In the place of an entry fee we are asking for donations to help supply the residents with much needed toiletries and grooming tools (toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, etc.). A box to collect both items and monetary gifts will be present at the doors of the fundraiser location.
We are also encouraging those that attend to donate their time to accompany us on December 20th, to bring cheer to the residents this holiday season.
On Thursday, December 20th we will visit the Saturn Nursing and Rehabilitation Home to present the donations, sing Christmas carols with the residents, and visit residents that are too ill to leave their rooms. We are in desperate need of volunteers to accompany us on this day.
Any contribution is greatly appreciated and encouraged. Please remember that many of these residents will not even see their own families during the holidays. Imagine the difference your gift, your smile, and a song could make in their lives.
