The LGBTQ Education and Discussion Group is a safe place for the LGBTQ adult community to meet and discuss issues such as; same-sex rights, issues surrounding the transgender community, HIV and STD awareness, healthy relationships, substance abuse, and mental health.

In addition to these topics, the facilitator would like to invite members of the LGBTQ community to bring ideas and topics they are interested in to the group as well.

So, to kick off the new year, we have decided to dedicate the last Thursday of every month to the Art of Drag (SHIPROCKED! style, of course) with our new, monthly DRAG FREAK-A-THON...LIPGLOSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bethann Phetamine will tear up the stage and play host, along with SR captain, Weaver Fever to the wild, campy, gorgeous and bizarre in a revue featuring a rotating cast of performers!

This month, we kick things off with special guests Malachi, the dragzonian songsmith extraordinaire, and Drag King boss, Oliver Clothesoff! And of course, as is the custom at SHIPROCKED!, there will be bewigged go-go pirates, rock and dance music, and all of this revelry will be FREE!
