The Black Girls RUN!/ Drive to End Hunger 5K/10K and the entire race weekend is open to everyone. Male runners/walkers are encouraged to participate as well.
For the conference registration fee, you receive conference tote, entrance to the mixer, discounts to local Atlanta restaurants, complimentary healthy continental breakfast, workshops, panels and access to the health and beauty expo. All with the Black Girls RUN! flair.

Black Girls Run! isn’t solely about the number of miles you run in a week. BGR! wants to encourage us to live a healthy long life and that starts with information. This workshop series will address everything from nutrition to motivation, yoga to hair care.
Lunch on your own
Location: A list of great local restaurants will be provided
Time: Noon – 2 p.m.
Atlanta is a Foodie town. While we don’t encourage you to go overboard before a race, but do take some time and experience something yummy. Be sure to check your registration packets for discount coupons as well.

Workshop 4: 3:15 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Over lunch, your friends tell you about an amazing, life changing workshop. Don’t worry. Here is your opportunity. This will be a repeat of the morning schedule with a few tweaks.
For Sisters Only or Free Time
Time: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
This weekend was designed to correspond with For Sister’s Only, one of the countries largest expos for everything sister-centered taking place conveniently at the Georgia World Congress Center. Or take a moment and see some of the historic sites of Atlanta. Our host hotel is walking distance to the Martin Luther King Center and the Georgia Aquarium.

On Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 3:30pm to 10:15pm, the Mable House Amphitheatre will house some of the best rock bands for your listening pleasure. Executive Producer Melissa Banks has pledged to cut her hair during the event if enough funds are raised.
