1. Comfortable workout clothes and sneakers/hiking boots
2. Hat or sunglasses if needed
3. Something to wipe the sweat...yes you will sweat!
4. Water
5. And a strong Determination to get to the top!!!!
To park inside of the park costs $10.00 unless you have a season pass...but you can park at the Marta Park and Ride for free at the corner of 4th and West Mountain Dr. and walk 5 minutes into the Park for FREE!!!
We are starting promptly at 9:00 am so please plan to get there to stretch by 8:45am!!!

Our parent company, the Tenth Amendment Media Group is kicking off their new initiative, Know Blue, Stay Alive Prostate Cancer Rally. This rally serves a call to action for Prostate Cancer victims and survivors.
Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer among men. It is the second when compared to lung cancer in cancer related deaths.
More than 241,000 new cases will be diagnosed, and about 28,000 deaths will be attributed to prostate cancer, in 2012 in the U.S. For reasons not fully understood, Africa...

Know Blue, Stay Alive is designed to raise awareness for this disease among all men, especially black men. When it comes to our health, we must start having the uncomfortable conversations. -Town Rocks, a spinoff of Sounds from the Underground, focuses on indie music of all genres from Metro Atlanta/State of Georgia artists. To celebrate the 23rd Annual Southwest Atlanta Music Festival, we will be taking a mini-tour of SW Atlanta to build up the momentum for this joyous occasion. This mini-tour will cross promote the new fall season on ERN and the music festival in the Southwest Atlanta community.

Artists will be invited out for radio interviews, a chance to freestyle on the microphone, ...
submit their music for radio airplay and meet and greet the public. The community will receive information about the upcoming music festival and learn about Another Way Out. In addition, they will be encourage to patronize and support Southwest Atlanta businesses.
The music festival will take place on Saturday, September 29 and 30, 2012 at Cascade Field. Cascade Field is located next to the KFC near I-285 on Cascade Road in Unincorporated South Fulton.
Another Way Out (AWO) was founded in 1992 by business leader and community leader Sam Tompkins to provide opportunities for youth to broaden their perceptions of what life has to offer by motivating them to stay in school, resist negative peer pressure, avoid teen parenthood, drug/alcohol-related violence and other limiting behavior.
Since its inception, AWO has provided youth with important opportunities to engage in the community’s civic activities and to give them a way to channel their intellect and ambition in a productive manner. At the core of each of AWO’s programs is the realization that education, community, and building character are crucial to the success of both the child and society.
The Tenth Amendment Media Group has been a proud media sponsor of this event since 2010.
