There is a lot to say about a school that goes from being an “F” school to an “A” school in one year. So when Nap Ford Community School accomplished this, some called it luck.
...

Others said it was a miracle. We called it a testament for you to help!

It wasn’t an easy accomplishment, especially in a school where 98% of the student body lives at or below the poverty level.

It took the help of devoted teachers, staff and parents who knew that the students of Nap Ford were capable of achieving greatness. The school needed to improve needed help and no option was off the table. The school day was extended by an hour which offered students tutoring opportunities in Science, Technology and Math. Teachers volunteered to teach on Saturday and parents became more involved. The entire community could feel that something great was happening. The school was able to accomplish what many felt couldn’t be done going from one of the lowest ranking schools in the state to one of the top performers. Now, the school needs your help more than ever! We needed help!

Please help us - help Nap Ford build on the momentum of last school year and achieve even more. However we can’t do it alone and so again our teachers your help. The hard work isn’t over and their staff, teachers and parents need your help. Every child deserves a quality education despite their circumstances and they are hoping you can help!

As advocates for education we are having a fundraiser to benefit Nap Ford Community School. Proceeds raised will help to continue the extra school hour at the school which has benefitted their students.
