The weather is changing and most often, kids and teenagers do not have the proper attire for the winter. I am starting a clothing drive for kids in the homeless shelters and battered women shelters. I'm collecting all donations for JEANS, JACKETS, SWEATERS, CLOSED TOE SHOES, SCARVES, EAR MUFFS and other winter gear. If you have any clothes you want to donate, please contact me ASAP. I can come by to retrieve them from you. If you shall decide to donate money, that's okay to.

IGNITE 2012 QUEER & TRANS YOUTH OF COLOR CONVENING

The IGNITE 2012 Queer and Trans Youth Convening will provide an opportunity for LGBTQ youth of color (18-24) from across the Southern region to engage in dialogue, political education, skill shares, networking, and to begin to organize state level action plans on the issues that most impact their lives. This one of a kind convening seeks to bridge the gap between rural and urban LGBTQ communities of color in the South.

The 15th annual, FREE one day extravaganza. Attractions include 5 stages of Live Local Music, Comedy Stage, Artists Market, the FAMOUS Strut Parade, Free Kids Village, Carnival Stalls, Community Booths, Food and Beverages.

Leave the car at home. Parking will be limited to neighborhood side streets. Take public transportation where possible.
Due to permit restrictions CYCLES are NOT permitted within the Strut Footprint.
The Strut will be providing a FREE manned cycle corral in partnership with Atlanta Bicycle Coalition.
